Waiting for Open-F@b Call4winner 2017, the final event of the 4th international competition event promoted by BNP Paribas Cardif, in collaboration with InsuranceUp, Open Up and Medici. This year it will be awarded the three best ideas on Preventive Insurance, a new concept of insurance based not just on mere compensation but rather on prevention, protection, assistance and customer interaction.
The topic has been welcomed by start-ups and innovators from all over the country who have submitted their projects from Lombardy to Sicily, from Puglia to Friuli Venezia Giulia and so on. But there’s more. This year, call4ideas has been greatly approached from abroad: international participants are even half the total.
In the innovative context of Spazio Gessi in Milan, on Wednesday, November 29th, finalists will challenge each other in a compelling Innovation Battle. In addition to the technical jury, audience in the hall can interact, thanks to digital technologies, expressing its vote. For BNP Paribas Cardif, which is developing a new concept of insurance closer to people, it is important for new consumers to evaluate ideas which can lead to prevention, safety and well-being solutions. In the same vein of experimentation and “contamination”, the Company involved in the jury leading journalists, innovation experts and bloggers, who have joined BNP Paribas Cardif’s top management to give a more heterogeneous and not just insurance-oriented perspective.
The 3 winners will be joined by the BNP Paribas Cardif R&D team supporting them in the development and implementation of their project, taking into account Company and market needs.

The “agenda”
Presented by Luca Viscardi, radio host and blogger, the event will start at 3.30 pm, with the greeting of Isabella Fumagalli, CEO of BNP Paribas Cardif, and Andrea Rangone, CEO of Digital 360. Then, the first part of the Innovation Battle will take place to make way for the finalists start-up who will present their projects and will be voted by the audience through a m-site. Waiting for the final battle, Q&A moments to finalists will alternate with Insurtech’s experts, who will bring their experience warming up the event. Among the others Amit Goel, Founder and CIO of MEDICI; Aziza Idrissi Janati Startup Program Lead Manager at Open Up; and Chedy Riahi, Partnerships Manager. Finally, the 5 best-rated startups will be engaged in an ultimate “promo-spot” that will offer them the last opportunity to convince the audience and jury. The 3 winners will be rewarded by Andrea Veltri, Chief Marketing Officer & Strategy of BNP Paribas Cardif.
