The Grand Final of Call4ideas Open-F@b 2016, the initiative promoted by BNP Paribas Cardif and EconomyUp in collaboration with PoliHub – the Incubator of Politecnico di Milano – intended to award and support the most innovative digital projects in the insurance sector, able to improve the customer experience, will take place on November 29 in Milan at 5:00pm at Spazio Edit.
This is the ultimate moment of a process, started on July this year, when the call was launched, leading to the collection of so many projects, as pointed out by the CEO of Re-Boot Company Isabella Fumagalli event. 14 have been identified and the next November 29 will be revealed, pitch-style, to the audience and the jury, which must indicate the three best proposals. These projects has already had the opportunity to deal with in the mentor – Cardif manager for a coaching period, helping them to refine their proposal.
The jury will be made up of executive of BNP Paribas Group, academic experts in the field of digital technologies and three outsiders: Massimo Sideri, innovation editor of Corriere della Sera; Tommaso Di Vico, student-journalist for the newspaper of Bocconi University; Luca Viscardi, blogger, radio host and expert in technology, aka MisterGadget.
There shall be no cash prize, but rather the opportunity to work with Cardif management team to develop the project, let the startup grow and in case include it among services and products offered by Cardif. Currently the company is already working with several startups identified in previous editions of the Open-F@b Call4Ideas, as told in this video by Simone Macelloni, Marketing R & D of BNP Paribas Cardif.
Open-F@b Call4Ideas 2016 is an open innovation project, launched for the first time in 2014, aiming to identify the best technological and digital startups developing cooperation. The best ideas which will improve the customer experience of the insured, in every phase of the life cycle (pre-sales, sales, after sales/caring), and will innovate the relationship between insurance customer and carrier, are the target of the award.
Customer Experience as the scope of digitization is a sector where many insurtech startups are focusing on. As shown by many studies, it is the key to update business models, offer new services, retain customers and win new ones, above all Millennials, very oriented and attentive to the digital shopping experience and access to services.
